Are escape rooms suitable for children?
Our rooms accommodate players aged 10+ with adult supervision. Left at Home is our most family-friendly option, with staff available to adjust difficulty for younger groups.
What happens if we can't solve the puzzles?
Our game masters provide hints through monitored systems to keep gameplay progressing. Only a few groups have failed to escape within the 60-minute timeframe.
Can we book last-minute reservations?
While we recommend advance booking, weekday slots may be available with 1.5 hours notice. Contact us directly to check last-minute availability for unscheduled time slots.
Is parking available at your facility?
We don't have dedicated parking, but pay-to-park street spaces are usually available on Clark Street. Public transportation options include the Belmont 'L' station two blocks west.
What's your cancellation policy?
Bookings can be canceled or rescheduled for free up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Day-of changes may incur fees depending on staff availability.
Can we add extra players after booking?
You can add up to 2 extra players beyond listed capacity for Left at Home and Escape the 90s (max 10 total) and 1 extra for Lab of the Lost (max 8 total) at the time of check-in.

Brought my kids (12 year olds) for the Home alone escape room and they loved it. The experience was made better by Anya who was their guide. Both my boys commented on how helpful and friendly she was. Thank you Anya for making the experience great for them! It was their first escape room alone and they loved it!

Today we "Escaped the 90s" in about 32 minutes, our group being four experienced players. Highlights of the experience included the soundtrack (lots of humming/singing along while we solved the puzzles) and the technical elements of the room. The set dressing, storyline, and puzzles themselves were great. Our game master, Anya, did a nice job orienting us on the game design and story. There were many unique and challenging puzzles in the room that fit the nostalgic theme. Definitely check this place out and support one of the few remaining independent locally owned Escape Rooms in the Chicagoland
