McDowell Crane & Rigging

Since 1950, McDowell Crane & Rigging has been a family-owned business rooted in Midwestern values of honesty, respect, and exceptional customer service. Our company was founded on the principle of delivering quality equipment, fair pricing, and unparalleled service to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Over seven decades, we have built a reputation as a trusted partner in crane rentals and heavy rigging solutions across industrial, commercial, agricultural, and residential sectors. Our team of NCCCO-certified operators, OSHA-trained professionals, and MSHA-trained personnel brings technical expertise and safety-first practices to every project. We specialize in solving complex lifting challenges through innovative approaches, from short-term crane rentals to comprehensive rigging projects.

Our capabilities extend beyond crane services to include structural steel erection, conveyor installation, industrial concrete work, and custom fabrication. We maintain rigorous safety standards through continuous training, weekly toolbox talks, and advanced safety software to ensure zero injuries on-site. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our 24/7 emergency service availability and our ability to handle time-critical projects without compromising quality. With a diverse fleet of hydraulic truck cranes ranging from 6 to 350 tons, we serve clients throughout the Midwest and beyond. Our philosophy remains unchanged since our founding: to transform visions into tangible realities through skilled execution, cutting-edge equipment, and unwavering dedication to client satisfaction.
