Dreamland Kennel is located in the country on 15 acres where your pets have room to run and play. We offer indoor/outdoor kennels with 80 sq ft of room in each run. If you're going on a trip or vacation and cannot take your dog or cat along, our kennel will provide peace of mind while you are away. Owners Michael & Linda Brantley offer a lifetime of experience in caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, types and sizes. Rest assured your pets are being cared for the same as our top show dogs!

Dreamland Kennel offers your pets wide open spaces, clean country air and plenty of room to romp and have fun. Your furry family member will receive personal attention and daily exercise in our clean environment. We are open from 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 12 noon on Saturday and 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday.

At Dreamland Kennel, we specialize in breeding and raising show and companion dogs. Our Chow Chows have recieved top awards at Westminster, Eukanuba and the National Specialties, as well as countrys such as Japan, China, Brazil, Canada, and The Philippines. We test the health and wellness of our stock before we would even consider breeding them.
Tibetan Mastiffs

Tibetan Mastiffs are an ancient Chinese breed. They have been bred as guardians of livestock and property. They are known to be extremely intelligent, extremely independent and capable of making their own decisions. Tibetan Mastiffs take their jobs as a protector and defender seriously. They are highly intelligent and will form a close bond with you.

Michael was born into a family that showed & bred Pekinese. When he was 8 they began showing & breeding Chow Chows. He showed his first dog when he was 5 years old and has been doing so ever since. He began handling fulltime in 1988 and today is a member of the Professional Handlers Association.
He has trained and handled many breeds of dogs to Best In Shows and Top Ten placements in both breed and all-breed and has had the number one dog in competition in several breeds as well.The training & showing of dogs involves boarding the dogs here at our kennel during the week in between shows and then traveling with them to various shows across the country.

Chow Rescue

Since 1995, West Texas Chow Rescue has been rescuing and rehoming Chow Chows. Over the years it has been a mixed blessing. There has been lots of good times as well as too many sad times as we fulfill a need in the community. Our small group of dedicated volunteers, with limited funds, have managed to rescue over 1500 chows.
