Peter Bortz opened Georgetown Frame Shoppe in 1989. Peter has always had a great appreciation for and interest in art. After receiving a BA in economics at the University of Maryland 1986, he strove to combine his interest in art with his business skills.
Since 1989, the company has evolved to not only encompass the wacky and fun world of rare vintage animation art and custom picture framing, but to house a miraculous body of modern and contemporary prints from around the world.As gallery owner, Peter Bortz is involved in the daily operation of the gallery to ensure its high level of customer service.
