Sproutlings Educational Childcare Center

Firmly rooted in New Providence, N.J., Sproutlings is a unique, family-owned childcare center. Our mission is to create a place where children enjoy spending their time, are challenged and motivated to learn, and are provided daily with opportunities to explore the world around them while in an environment that welcomes your family as a whole.

Complete an application noting your desired start date and submit the application fee of $50. Upon your child's acceptance, you will receive an offer letter which outlines the start date, required deposit, and one time $150 registration fee required to secure your space. Please select your program.

Sproutlings uses the Creative Curriculum in all of our classrooms, from Peapods through PreK 4. The Creative Curriculum is a developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum that focuses on child choice and child-led activities.

During routine experiences for younger students, and guided studies for older children, teachers provide experiences that enrich skills in areas such as: math, science, early reading, problem-solving, social relationships, fine motor, large motor and spatial relationships.Our teachers carefully and deliberately set up the classroom environment with a variety of materials that promote exploration via Learning Centers.

Our Peapods are our youngest age group. Our Sproutlings caregivers invest heavily in constant communication with these little ones, which is key as language skills are learned quickly within the first year of a child's life. Through interactions with caregivers: talking, singing and reading, our Peapods have plenty of opportunity to develop early language skills.

Our Seedlings are our young toddlers, ranging in age from 12 to 28 months of age. The Seedlings classroom offers the comfort and safety needed for this age group, while providing your child with a wide variety of learning experiences through use of The Creative Curriculum. The Seedlings room is set up with Learning Centers, just like in our pre k classrooms.
