Knight Music Academy is a community music school located in Lake Zurich, Illinois. The Academy offers Suzuki and traditional music lessons in 30, 45, and 60-minute lengths to individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels; ages 1 through adult, beginner to advanced. We offer a wide range of courses including early childhood music classes and instrument-specific instruction on guitar, piano, violin, viola, cello, flute, and voice.

Knight Music Academy is a community music school dedicated to providing the highest quality music education to individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels; ages 1 through adult, beginner to advanced. We offer a wide range of courses including instruction on a variety of instruments implementing various methods of study (Suzuki and Traditional), Mini-Mozarts (our early childhood music program), and Budding Beethoven's (Orff).

Knight Music Academy is unique to the area in many ways. As a community music school, we are able to offer a wide range of courses for ages 1 through adult, beginner to advanced. All of our instructors have advanced degrees in their area of expertise and many have additional certifications (Suzuki, Orff, etc.), as well as years of experience in both teaching and performing.
Academy Policies

Payment must be made within seven (7) days of reserving a lesson/class. Thereafter, the lesson/class slot will be taken off reserve as enrollment is first-come-first-serve. If we cannot immediately place a student due to a shortage of studio openings or specific scheduling requests, prospective students will be placed on a waiting list.
Concert Etiquette
Report
Please arrive a few minutes prior to the start of the performance time. Late comers should wait until applause to take a seat, and should do so quickly and quietly. Make certain that all pagers, cellphones, and any other noise-making devices are turned off prior to the start of any concert. Do not talk or make noises during the performance as it can be very distracting to the performers and other members of the audience.

We offer private music lessons, group classes, ensembles, early childhood music classes, children's Orff classes, and performance opportunities. As part of our admission and registration process, we require the parent and student complete an intake interview which includes a tour of our facility, and a complimentary mini-lesson & evaluation.
