Born and raised in Georgetown, SC, Dr. Waninger attended the University of South Carolina Honors College where he met his wife, Stephanie. Stephanie is a former Division 1 athlete, a swimmer, and they met while working as lifeguards for the Aquatics Center. They remain loyal Gamecocks fans. Forever to Thee!

Preventive services such as fluoride treatments, dental cleanings, periodontal care, digital dental x-rays and comprehensive examinations can detect issues before they become a problem. We can discuss ways to avoid dental treatment and maintain a healthy smile and healthy body as well.
Restorative Dentistry

In the case of decay, infection, or dental trauma, restorative dentistry may be necessary to replace lost tooth structure. We use cosmetic fillings to rebuild the tooth to its original shape an form as closely as possible. In cases where fracture or decay compromise a large amount of tooth structure, a dental crown may be fabricated to restore the overall strength and integrity of the tooth.
Dental Implants

In cases where teeth are missing, you may be a candidate for dental implants. Dental implants are titanium screws that can replace individual teeth or be used to support removable prosthetics such as partials and dentures. Once the implant is placed, it will usually take 3-6 months for the implant to integrate and be ready for your final crown.
