Judson was an amazing captain, and extremely knowledgeable about where to fish, how to fish, and what to use to fish with. He worked us in on super short notice, and was able to accommodate our needs perfectly. The fishing trip went just as he said it would and exceeded all of our expectations. Super cool guy and made it feel like we were fishing with our best friend. The trip went flawlessly, and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for the perfect trip in East NC area!

I fished with Capt Jud in Louisiana in November 2018. It was my first time fishing the bayou and also with Jud. He helped us find accommodations, and was on time each morning with top quality boat and equipment. He worked hard all day with a positive attitude and coached me through sight fishing to multiple giant redfish. His guiding in North Carolina covers so many different aspects of fishing, including speckled trout, old drum, cobia, striper, etc. Highly recommend!

Judson is a great guide for anyone in the area looking to target fish on a spinning or fly rod. His skiff is very accommodating and was a very comfortable trip. We spent all day out on the water and were able to catch a number of different species. Sight casting for reds on the fly was a lot of fun.
