Bodhi Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture

Our comfortable practice is located in Satellite Beach FL south of Pineda Causeway just across from Melbourne which makes it accessible to all the cities of Brevard County. We designed Bodhi to be a calming and safe space to heal. We use the best products to make you feel comfortable. We also have our own Chinese herbal pharmacy on site to craft personalized formulas to complement your treatment.

At Bodhi we use the following therapies from TCM and modern medicine in our personalized approach to wellness. Each therapy or a mix of them are tailored to the patient depending on their lifestyle, constitution, the type of condition, and how long it has been going on. Thin sterile needles are inserted into acupuncture points to regulate the flow of qi (energy) and blood to achieve homeostasis.

During the first visit we will thoroughly go over your medical history and concerns, perform diagnosis using Traditional Chinese Methods and formulate a treatment plan to achieve your health goals. We will go over specific things you should do at home to continue treatment such as food therapy, and if necessary Dr. Andrea will prescribe a personalized herbal formula.

Includes consultation and treatment. The type of therapy used for treatment depends on the diagnosis and Dr Andrea's recommendation. In this visit we will go over medical history and health concerns to be addressed using herbs and food therapy. The Herbal formula is charged separately.

Insurance: We do not bill insurance directly, but if your insurance company covers acupuncture treatments we will provide you with a detailed bill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.If you have an FSA/HSA/HRA card acupuncture is an approved modality and you can use it to pay for your treatments and prescriptions Bodhi.

I have always been curious about nature and the intricacies of the human body. This curiosity led me to study biology at the University of Florida with the goal of pursuing a career in the medical field.

While doing research in plant genetics and following a pre-medical school track, I realized that the path to achieving health and well being does not depend solely on your genetic makeup or environment, but it also comes from cultivating awareness and balance in life.This awareness led to me look for a holistic approach to healing, which led me find my passion, Chinese medicine.
