Services
Colonoscopy
This diagnostic procedure examines the large intestine using a flexible endoscope to detect polyps, cancer, and inflammatory conditions. Recommended for adults 45+ as a preventive measure against colorectal cancer, it allows for simultaneous biopsy and polyp removal. Our facility maintains cecal intubation rates above national standards, ensuring thorough examinations.
Capsule Endoscopy
Patients swallow a vitamin-sized capsule containing a camera that captures GI tract images during natural digestion. This non-invasive method visualizes the small intestine to diagnose obscure bleeding, Crohn's disease, and tumors. The 8-hour procedure requires no sedation, allowing immediate resumption of normal activities post-exam.
Endoscopic Ultrasound
Combines endoscopy with ultrasound to visualize digestive tract walls and surrounding organs. Using the EndoSound Vision System, this technique provides detailed images of pancreatic lesions, bile duct abnormalities, and rectal disorders. It enables precise needle biopsies and staging of GI cancers.
Remicade Infusion
Administers infliximab intravenously to treat autoimmune conditions like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. This two-hour infusion suppresses gut inflammation by targeting TNF-alpha proteins. Certified nurses monitor patients during treatment, which occurs every 6-8 weeks following initial dosing.
Dietician Services
Personalized dietary assessments and modification plans address GI conditions including IBS, celiac disease, and fatty liver disease. Registered dietitians develop strategies to manage symptoms through food choices, portion control, and elimination diets while maintaining nutritional balance.

Not a patient, but a doordasher who delivers their groceries. They are cheap and never tip, also the old lady at the coffee counter has a condescending attitude. But I guess that is expected since we are just "lowly service people".

I have never been so motivated to write a review. Dr. Rav is not only a great doctor but a great person. His staff and nurses were instrumental in getting me the help I needed quickly and efficiently. At 32-weeks pregnant, I had been experiencing upper right abdominal pain since my 24th week of pregnancy. Unfortunately, the Midwives at UIHC did not know what was causing the pain. My VA maternity nurse was persistently concerned about my blood work and imaging, and she wanted a specialist to evaluate me. I called UIHC GI and Mercy One GI they would not see me any earlier than December, baby was

Very disappointed in the whole experience, but largely in the way I was communicated with. I would ask questions, ask for more information and ask why my care plan did not reflect the conversation we had. The responses I received were do more research, because this is what I suggest, and I have sent emails through the care portal with no replies. They left me feeling like a bother, that my symptoms were fine and living in pain was ok.

Doctor Ravi has been treating me for over 12 years. He has went above and beyond to take care of my health needs time and time again. He knows me by name when I have seen him in public. He is more than a doctor to me he is an amazing part of this community and more doctors should take note on how to treat patients from him and his amazing staff. When it comes to medical care I value Dr. Ravi's opinion over anyones elses. He will not lead you wrong. He cares about people and cares about helping us with our healthcare needs.
