San Francisco Youth Soccer is a comprehensive community soccer organization, benefiting San Francisco youth.

In addition, SFYS and our clubs host player clinics. SFYS player clinics are low-cost or free. We also feature local and club-run skills clinics and summer camps. SFYS Clinics are listed on our Events & Registration Calendar and highlighted in team correspondence. In the Spring of 2016, SF Youth Soccer began participating at SF Shared Schoolyard Project school opening events.

Turf Fields: Game ON if your match is on turf (unless there's lightning - then pause the game, wait 30min, resume if no more lightning). Grass Fields: Closures are on a per-pitch basis (some fields can handle more water than others). IMPORTANT: Do not assume that a game later in the day is cancelled just because a morning game may be.

During a game, a coach should have extremely-limited interaction with the referee, if at all. Unlike other American sports, in soccer the referee has no obligation to explain a call to a coach, principally because it's a running clock and would waste time. If you have a concern, discuss it with the referee in a very polite manner at half-time.

After each game, each coach will File a Game Report via the Affinity system. Log In, find your team(s), select your game, and let us know the results as well as any relevant game information (referee, field, other team, quality of play, etc.). SFYS takes game reports very seriously, for bracketing.
