Combustion Cycles was established in 2003 and quickly became the Triangle's source for motorcycle and scooter service and repair. Not long after opening, Combustion earned its North Carolina Motor Vehicle Dealer's license and began selling new and used motorcycles and scooters. Since then, tens of thousands of customers have bought their bikes from and/or had their bikes maintained and repaired by Combustion.

Scooters
Report
State Safety Inspections: Scooters with 50cc sized engines (most scooters you see around) do not require state inspection but North Carolina does require that you renew your registration yearly and maintain liability insurance. Scooters with engines larger than 50cc do require yearly state inspections.
Scooter Sales
Report
Scooters with 50cc sized engines do not require a driver's license or motorcycle endorsement in North Carolina! What North Carolina does require is this: 1) you must be 16 or older, 2) you must wear a DOT-approved motorcycle helmet, 3) the scooter must be registered and renewed yearly, and 4) the scooter must have liability insurance in effect.
