Ortiz Eye Associates was founded in 1964 by Philip A. Ortiz, O.D. The practice originally began in the Tratt Clinic building, moving to the present location in Morris, IL in 1969. We have grown substantially over the years to include the Ortiz Hearing Center. We also have onsite ophthalmologists for the convenience of our Morris residents.
Dr. Eligius Lelis and Dr. Majid Rassouli perform surgery at Morris Hospital and we can then see these patients the next day in our office. For over forty-five years, Ortiz Eye Associates has provided the very best in vision care to the residents of Grundy County. There has been one constant throughout these many years of change - an old-fashioned approach to patient care and a commitment to treat patients with care and understanding.

Here at Ortiz Eye Associates we provide medical and routine care. Every comprehensive exam our doctors do includes looking at the health of your eyes, providing tests when necessary to help protect your eyes and vision and providing a prescription at the end of your visit. Because of the extensive comprehensive exams we do we only bill medically.
