To get a Washington driver's license, an applicant is required to pass both the written/ knowledge and skills/ drive test. 1 BAL DRIVING SCHOOL, LLC is authorized by the Department of Licensing to provide both the WA State Written and Skills test. In order to take a test with us, the applicant must either visit a DOL office to provide the necessary documents and get a WA ID number or pre-apply online.

With over a decade of experience, we have helped over 10,000 drivers get ready for the adventure that driving is. From driver's ed, adult lessons, refresher courses, and testing, we have taken our passion for driving and have implemented state of art curriculum that best helps to prepare our drivers.
Drivers Ed
Report
Our driver education classes focus on responsible driving. We teach the mechanics of driving, the execution of driving operations, and a thorough understanding of the rules of safe driving. We help students understand how their basic personality traits influence their driving decisions. Our Zoom teachers will teach the exact same program that they teach in live classes.
Defensive Driving Course

Upon completion, a school letter, completion certificate, and a clock hours login sheet will be provided to the client to show to the court/ attorney or to their insurance company. E.g. any non-moving traffic violation, traffic ticket, reckless driving, aggressive driving, and or DUI. Individuals over the age of 18 must either have a valid instruction permit or a valid driver's license.
Written-Test
Report
The Written/ knowledge test is used to ensure you understand road signs, traffic laws, and safe driving practices before you drive on the roadway. WA ID # (a random number that starts WDL or with the first five letters of your last name). 2 hours brushup course before taking the WA knowledge test or if you are having difficulties passing it.
Skills Test
Report
Skills/ Drive test using school car for drive test w/ 30 minute brush up: $105 (test fee included). The Skills/ Drive test is used to ensure you are able to legally and safely drive on the roadway. An examiner will ride with you to ensure that the vehicle is safe to drive, that you maintain control of the vehicle, and that you obey the rules of the road.
