Update at bottom
As others have said. Not at all what is advertised! Pool empty, minature golf overgrown, grounds unkept. All of this and more for only $90/night for 50A full hookup. Screwed up and did not look at other recent reviews that are all 1 star.
New owners Manager offered full refund but i needed to stay for family vists nearby so we agreed on a 50% refund.

Very disappointed for the price we paid and what we ended up with. Our full hook up spot was small with no fire ring, in full sun. Picnic table broken down. I was told the pool was closed due to “reconstruction”. After checking further I see it has been closed since 2018! We booked this campground because it was supposed to have a pool! I think they are being deceptive! The miniature golf course was worn out so badly you couldn’t use it. The entire campground was worn out and in very poor repair.☹️

The only good thing about this campground was the nice women in the office. This campground has gone far downhill since it has been put under new management. Bathrooms are run down. Shower houses don't work and are falling apart. The pool is closed and unkempt.Their "security" is an old sour tart with authority abuse issues. Their website doesn't mention that, nor does it mention that there is no electricity on the island, and there's no golf carts allowed on the island either. Nothing is refundable even if your spot was taken. Never coming here again; you shouldn't either.

So glad we switch reservations from another camp ground to come here plenty of room and nice camping area. A couple of down falls 1. lots are very hard to find needs numbers and borders of them a little more detailed (biggie numbers) and 2. fire pits are not on every site we lucked out and no one in the lot next to us so we used that one. This is in no way meant to be negative we will be back again water and electric on a good majority of sites dump station. If they take care of labeling the sites better and the fire pits this would be a 5 star campground for sure.....

I’ve been coming to holiday acres for like 8 years now & I couldn’t be more impressed as of my last stay there over the Memorial weekend.
It has new ownership now, & I think they’re doing everything the way this camping ground deserves cause it’s a really really nice spot.
Park is back up for the kids, potty’s are cleaned up really well, golf cart rentals to get you back & forth & around the campground, staff is friendly & helpful, etc etc etc.
This has always been one of my family’s favorite spots to recharge & get away, glad that this place is gonna get the facelift it deserves

Booked reservation with old owners of place and then they foreclosed. New owners took over by the time we arrived. They were beyond apologetic for the issues at the park including no pool, not all showers working and misisng fire rings, amongst other things. They did the best they could and wanted into know it'll be better next time. Family friendly place with an AWESOME playground, which was the savior or our weekend. Will gladly go back there because they owned the issues and tried to make amends. That's good for business and returning customers.
