At Miss Emily's Music School, we know that you are busy and that you want to spend more time with your family. In order to do that, you need convenient extra-curricular activities for your child. The problem with music lessons is that they can make you feel like you will need to spend MORE time by trying to make your child practice.
We believe that kids can be successful in music lessons without practicing. We understand how busy you are and the last thing you need to do is to fight your kid to practice. That's why we created an engaging program that kids love so much, practice happens naturally without being a chore. In order to create a groovy and supportive environment for all of our students, we are selective about the parents we accept into our family.

About
Report
Miss Emily had just moved from California to Kansas with her husband because of the Army. They had just adopted a puppy (Abrams) and she wanted to stay with him as much as possible. At the time, she was studying to become a Certified Flight Instructor and thought that teaching piano lessons would expose her to different learning styles while letting her stay home with Abrams.
Musical Therapy Dogs

E is a seven year old piano student. Last year, she had her very first piano recital. When she got there, she realized that there were a LOT more people there than she expected. Anxiety and panic took over and she immediately wanted to go home. Until four paws and a wagging tail came waddling her way.

Did you take lessons as a kid? Was it boring or even traumatizing? Have you heard the horror stories of the piano teacher that would slap a student's hands with a ruler? We get it! We had the SAME experiences. That's why Miss Emily's Music School's number one goal is to have FUN! Those scary music teacher still exist, but you won't find them at Miss Emily's Music School!

Have you taken your child to the Saint Patrick's Day parade in Aggieville and seen their face light up when they hear the bagpiper leading the parade? Maybe they heard the bagpipers play at the Renaissance Festival at the Manhattan City Park and were mesmerized by it. We're not going to lie, they are loud.
