Why Choose Parent Taught? - Point - We understand that your teen is involved in many different activities and that your time and money is valuable. We also believe your teen is even more valuable. SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO DO THE CLASSROOM ONLY, please contact the Department of Public Safety as that department regulates the requirements for parent taught courses.

Due to limitations of the previous online software, we are officially using Zoom for Virtual Meetups. Improper use of this software during class time, such as the use of profanity, or else otherwise unacceptable behavior, will get you banned from the class, and you will not be able to rejoin. We will be able to provide limited technical support during the class.

Note: you do not need the following to enroll, but will eventually need all to get your pemit. The birth certificate must show original seal or a certified copy with a state seal will suffice. Try to get to the DPS office early because they sometimes get very busy in the afternoon.
Your child will take the written exam and vision exam here in our school and receive a "learner's permit" from DPS once the exam is passed and all documents are in order.
