This is desirable because the pump will not cycle on and off when you have not set enough sprinklers or there is a little demand. The advantages of VFDs are they will keep your pump from turning on and off, they can supply a constant pressure, and they make it easy for you to irrigate without worrying about how much water you are turning on.

If you are having a problem with your pump, here are a few things you can try for yourself. This applies to non-variable speed systems. Once you have found the switch try hitting it (with the cover on). You want to hit it with a slight amount of force as not to break it but definitely harder than just tapping it.

We will answer the phone when you call or quickly return your call if we are already on the phone or out of signal. There are alternative phone numbers to call if one of us cannot get to the phone. Customers will be billed a minimum of one hour per service call. Hourly rate is $100 an hour and $75 for an apprentice and billed from when we leave the shop to when we return to the shop.
