In 1963,E rnest Woodie opened a single service station on Independence Blvd. at Albermarle Road in Charlotte. From there, Woodie Enterprises, Inc. began. Decades later, the family business continues to grow with 11 tire and auto repair locations in and around the Charlotte area.
