About Pope Pius X
Report
Pope Pius X is perhaps best remembered for his encouragement of the frequent reception of Holy Communion, especially by children. The second of 10 children in a poor Italian family, Joseph Sarto became Pius X at 68, one of the 20th century's greatest popes. Ever mindful of his humble origin, he stated, "I was born poor, I lived poor, I will die poor."

Today, close to 350 students of various backgrounds attend St. Pius X and take advantage of our well-balanced college preparatory curriculum. The curriculum challenges the students and equips them with the skills that they need to excel in today's colleges and beyond. Our 2018 graduating class of 101 students was awarded 5.9 million dollars in grants and scholarships for college and earned an average composite score of 23.6 ACT test.
20/20 Strategic Plan

In 2013, the Board embarked on the drafting a new Strategic Plan with enthusiastic participation of our administration, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, parents of alumni, community and parish partners and students.
After the vision which guided the teams and the methodology in formulating this Plan was determined, eleven categories of focus were identified, envisioned states for each category created, and strategies and action plans were developed for implementation.This 20/20 Strategic Plan is an evolving process and used as a guide by the Principal, faculty, staff, the Board and its committees to help us reach our goals by 2020.

St. Pius X High School is looking for part time school bus drivers for the upcoming and future school years. We provide transportation for field trips during the days, and sporting events in the afternoons and evenings.
