UMC Preschool
UMCPB is a parent-directed, cooperative nursery school that offers a unique program for children 2 to 5 years of age. Our school, which is non-profit and non-sectarian, is located in the United Methodist Church of Burlingame. We provide a warm, supportive atmosphere in which children can develop positive feelings about their first school experience.

We offer stimulating and varied activities designed to help each child grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially. Parents play an active role in all aspects of school administration, maintenance, and growth. Parents serve as elected officers, comprising the Executive Board that governs the school.

Tours allow families to learn about our programs, teaching philosophy, view our excellent facilities and get to know our wonderful teaching staff.
Toddler
Report
Our toddler program welcomes children to (often) their first preschool experience by promoting a learning environment focused on the development of social/emotional, verbal communication, cognitive, and physical development skill-sets which are learned and practiced through PLAY (observing, imitating, exploring and mastering!).
Mixed Ages
Report
Our new Mixed Ages program allows children the unique opportunity to learn skills from different aged peers. Share, create and learn with more flexibility to self-select the level of challenge appropriate for your child. Research shows both younger and older children benefit from exposure to a variety of ages.
