KP Staffing was founded in 1977 with a single branch, located inside a house in Fort Worth off Airport Freeway. Jess Johnston had a vision: to become the #1 staffing agency in DFW. So he bought a 2,000 square foot house and renovated it (using the term "renovated" loosely - he knocked down a wall and placed a few desks in what was once the living room) for office use.
