Rick McGuire started flying in 1969. He started teaching as a certified flight instructor in 1975. He has a background as a former military officer, an owner of multiple businesses including aviation 135 operations, flight training facilities and aviation maintenance facilities. Rick has handled numerous aviation accident cases in his 30 plus years as a personal injury attorney.

Pilots who fly twins need to be at airline standards. Being at airline standards requires that you are able to do everything in the cockpit, not outside. You cannot handle an emergency procedure correctly by working in the cockpit and then outside the cockpit. It will distract you and defeat the purpose, that being stabilizing the aircraft and controlling the problem.

We tailor our instruction to fit the experience level and the needs of the pilot we are instructing. We offer initial and insurance qualification training in our 421C and 340, taught by Rick McGuire.

Rick McGuire has accomplished that with AST. He found There was a significant need for good full motion simulator training in sims that "really work" with excellent instructors. I have been to flight Safety four times, SimCom 10 times with various other programs in between.

We work with pilots to meet their insurance companies yearly requirement qualifications and initial requirements for approval to fly an aircraft under an insurance policy. We can perform Flight Reviews and IPC sign offs for those pilots. We do not teach Private, Instrument or Commercial courses for license.
