Gas Furnace Flue Cleaning & Relining
Report
We all know that our fireplaces and stoves rely on a clean, properly lined chimney to vent smoke, carbon monoxide, and other byproducts of combustion, but what about your gas furnace? Are you making sure your gas furnace flue is regularly cleaned and in good condition?
If the furnace flue isn't regularly cleaned, the corrosive acid produced during combustion can build up along the flue walls and eat away at the liner, leaving it riddled with holes. You may not realize how serious this is, but a leaky or blocked flue liner can lead to all sorts of issues, from inefficiency to carbon monoxide poisoning.
