Peter, the owner and founder of PGR General Contracting, LLC, began his career working for a high volume cleaning and restoration contractor for four years before opening his own successful public adjusting firm, which he owned for seven years. The public adjusting firm handled, on average, five million dollars in property claims per year. The firm was based out of Connecticut and handled claims with virtually every insurer in Connecticut.
In Peter's experience of being on both the claims handling and restoration side of the business he realized that the contractors his clients were hiring to complete insurance claim repairs were either not qualified to be handling the work or they were preferred vendors of the insurance carriers, both of which meant the clients were not receiving the best quality of work or the best service necessary for their project.
