Fall is almost here and so is Sweep Season! This is the busiest time of the year for chimney sweeps. Appointments during the fall through winter may become hard to find, so book an appointment as soon as possible! Feel free to check out our booking page to see our availability. During this time of year, we pause our exterior masonry repairs until spring time due to the volume of appointments and weather conditions.

These pictures are from a fireplace and a wood stove. As you can see here, there is a significant build up of creosote. Creosote is a highly flammable byproduct of wood burning that accumulates in a chimney flue or stove pipes. It is important for creosote to removed to prevent a flue fire and have a properly working fireplace or wood stove.
