Golf began in St. Johnsbury in 1923 when Willie Park, Jr., two-time winner of the British Open designed nine diverse, interesting and singular golf holes for the newly formed club. It would be the last of Park's 60 North American designs due to his ailing health. The installation of the greens was completed by his brother Mungo.

Promoting Junior golf is important to us and our Junior Rates reflect that. The following guidelines are to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all of our guests. When playing with a Junior Golfer please make sure that you are keeping pace with the group in front of you. One tee shot is permitted. Running or jumping on the greens or in the bunkers is not permitted.

Newly Renovated Clubhouse areas including: Pro Shop, Pub, Restaurant, Outside Deck, Banquet Room, Men's & Women's Locker Rooms and Lounge. Our practice area includes a driving range and pitching and putting areas. Our horseshoe shaped bar seats 22 guests and is the heart of the 19th hole. Tabletop seating is available in the bar area, sunroom and banquet room.

The following clubs offer reciprocal agreements with St. Johnsbury Country Club Members. Tee times should be made directly with the course first and then you must notify the St Johnsbury Pro Shop Staff so that we can confirm your membership with that course. Please make sure that you have your Member ID card ready to present for additional verification.

Private business and dining events are available at St. Johnsbury Country Club. Based on the size of your group, day of week and time, they can be hosted in either our Banquet Room, Sunroom or Pub.
