Pacific Youth Soccer League is a non-profit organization dedicated to the positive development of Mission Bay Community's youth through their participation in a safe, healthy, and affordable soccer program that is fun and rewarding for all. Pacific Youth Soccer League is excited to KICK OFF its 50th anniversary with a Spring Recreational program that will meet over eight Sundays starting in March.

Our spring program will follow. PYSL BLAST Soccer Club is still looking for additional players for our competitive soccer league; We have several teams that need additional players. Please see the list below and contact our Director of Coaching. From Division 7-Micro Soccer to Division 3 and older PYSL has a team for every level of player.

Pacific Youth Soccer League is a non-profit organization dedicated to the positive development of Mission Bay Community's youth through their participation in a safe, healthy, and affordable soccer program that is fun and rewarding for all. PYSL's objectives are to teach and train soccer players and coaches, develop leadership qualities and promote good sportsmanship among players, coaches, parents and spectators.
Referees
Report
PYSL uses only certified soccer referees registered with San Diego Soccer Referee Association. All referees must be at least 13 years old and hold a USSF Grassroots License in order to referee games for PYSL. To become certified you must pay the registration fee, complete the online modules, and attend a Grassroots Referee Certification Class.

We are PYSL, Inc. dba Pacific Youth Soccer League, a non-profit organization run by volunteers. We are affiliated with CALSOUTH and follow the rules of U.S. Soccer Federation. We use referees that have been certified for all divisions except Under Six. PYSL has teams in both the recreational circuit and the competitive circuit (PYSL BLAST SC.)

PYSL is an entirely volunteer run organization. The Board is also responsible for setting and implementing policies regarding our programs. If you want to be involved, we welcome your participation on the board. You can contact the Board President to determine what positions are open and how your skills can be utilized.
Teams
Report
Micro-soccer started to gain popularity about ten years ago and has been used in Europe for many years. There are no goalies and no "positions" with the main emphasis on teaching proper kicking techniques, general concepts of soccer and general rules of the game. The playing field is smaller and uses pug goals.
