Anna Maria has been working in our office as a dental hygienist since 2005. Anna Maria is a native of Germany and worked as a Registered Nurse in intensive care in Germany before moving to Portland in 1996. She is compassionate, has a gentle touch, and strives to provide thorough care that is tailored to meet each person's specific needs.
Sedation Dentistry

Some people are not comfortable with the effects of laughing gas (either because they are afraid they might lose control or because it makes them feel nauseated - this is quite rare, and is usually due to over-sedation). If you cannot breathe through your nose (either because you are a pure mouth breather, or because your nose is blocked), or you feel too claustrophobic when something is put over your nose, it cannot be used.

Getting a second opinion. Perhaps you have received an initial diagnosis from another dentist, but you are not satisfied. If you want a second opinion on your original diagnosis, we can provide that for you with an emergency exam. If you have x-rays from your original exam, you should bring those with you when you come in.

They are affordable. He personally checks in with his patients after hours! I brought my children here at 4 and 5 years old and although this is not a traditional "children's" dentist office my boys loved it! They are wonderful with my kids and us. The boys enjoy going to the dentist office. Dr. Horn and his staff treats you like family and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
