Services
Epidural Steroid Injections
Epidural steroid injections deliver anti-inflammatory medication directly to inflamed spinal nerve roots, providing targeted relief for back, neck, and radiating pain. This minimally invasive procedure reduces swelling and irritation, offering lasting pain reduction for conditions like sciatica and herniated discs while avoiding systemic side effects.
Spinal Cord Stimulation
Spinal cord stimulation uses implanted devices to interrupt pain signals before they reach the brain, offering chronic pain sufferers significant symptom reduction. This advanced therapy is ideal for failed back surgery syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome, and other refractory conditions, providing customizable pain relief through remote-controlled adjustments.
Joint Injections
Joint injections combine corticosteroids and local anesthetics to reduce inflammation and pain in arthritic or injured joints. Administered under imaging guidance for precision, these treatments effectively manage osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and sports injuries while preserving joint function and mobility.
Radiofrequency Ablation
Radiofrequency ablation uses heat energy to disrupt pain-transmitting nerves, providing long-term relief for chronic back, neck, and joint pain. This outpatient procedure targets specific nerve pathways, offering durable pain control for conditions like facet joint syndrome without damaging surrounding tissues.
Minimally Invasive Decompression
The MILD (Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression) procedure removes excess ligament tissue causing spinal stenosis, restoring space for nerves without extensive surgery. This outpatient treatment preserves spinal stability while effectively relieving leg pain, numbness, and weakness caused by narrowed spinal canals.

I recommend Dr. Antonio Mesa to anyone. Dr. Mesa is a very knowledgeable neurologist and pain management specialist. Not only is he extremely educated in his field but also compassionate, caring and a humanitarian. My father had been struggling with back pain for months and attempting every medication without relief, Dr. Mesa was finally able to subdue his pain. Forever grateful to Dr. Mesa for helping my father.

I recommend Dr Mesa to anyone. I refer to Dr Mesa as Dr House, if youve never seen the show, House and his staff are notorious for figuring out what is wrong with the most difficult diagnosis. I cried when he couldnt see me anymore, due to his specialized treatment being pain and not MS. I referred a friend that spent 10 years seeing dr after dr and nor knowing what was going on. I made her an appointment (after my glowing recommendation) and within 5 minutes with Mesa diagnosed her correctly and had her tested ASAP to confirm diagnosis before referring her to a cardiologist. He is the best
