ASA Is a terrible organization. It is extremely political and a money grab. Especially their ODP program where they will make you pay money for tryouts but then make their decision before the tryouts have even concluded. Your child will not make the cut unless a member of your club is on the board there, its that plain and simple. Chris the technical director who runs ODP is completely clueless as to what is going on.

Terrible!! Theres a difference between learning fundamentals and soccer fundamentals (structure and being aggressive). Parents are discouraged from cheering on their childs team because it is referred to as coaching from the sidelines. They would rather worry about that, then calling elbows and off sides (yes soccer parents know what those are...) I can not wait for this season to be over for my child to move onto a league that teaches and enforces true soccer mentality.
