Elm Street Tattoo was opened in 1996 by a group of friends interested in creating a tattoo shop with a standard above the rest. It has operated non-stop since then and celebrated 20 years of business in December of 2016. Owners Oliver Peck and Dean Williams still tattoo there full to part-time, throw several events throughout the year, and host guest artists from all over the world in their shop.

Elm Street Tattoo is owned by Oliver Peck and Dean Williams, two well known tattooers in the industry. They have a staff of 14 tattooers working full time between the street shop at 2811 Elm, the private studio at Heart in Hand Gallery, and the newest addition of Heart In Hand Lower Greenville at 2919 Greenville Ave.

Appointments are made through the artist, typically by email. Check the artist's profile on the Artist page for booking info for each individual artist. Minors and children are not allowed under any circumstance. You can bring a friend, but be advised that it is best to be in a small group and your company must wait behind the counter while you are tattooed.

Elm Street Tattoo is now proud to offer piercings through our private studio Heart in Hand Gallery located in Deep Ellum and our newest shop, Heart in Hand Lower Greenville, at 2919 Greenville Ave. We offer piercings by appointment every day in at least one of these two shops. Currently Jeremiah, Lucy, and Steve are our piercing artists.
