Top Cop Driving Academy is a family run driver's education academy that focuses on providing individuals with the skills necessary to drive safely on today's roads. This academy is facilitated by a retired Louisiana State Trooper and his wife, who is a certified teacher.
This course is designed to facilitate classroom interaction between students and the instructor, as well as, teach the necessary information to pass a state-certified driver's exam.This academy provides a unique law enforcement perspective that many others may not offer.

Services
38 Hour Education Course
Report
Students who wish to enroll for the 38 hour course are required to be at least 14 years and 9 months of age. However, to complete the 8 hour behind the wheel driving, the student must be at least 15 years of age. For those students who do not yet meet the age requirement for the driving portion, TOP COP Driving Academy will make the proper arrangements to postpone and reschedule for those students.
8 Hour Behind the Wheel Course
Report
This course consists of 8 hours behind-the-wheel training. It is designed for students that have completed the 30 hours of classroom instruction with a certified driving school and/or for students that who are 18 years of age or older that have completed the classroom portion of the 14 hour pre-licensing course.
Road Skills Test
Report
The State of Louisiana has allowed for driving schools to offer the Third-Party Road Skill Test for the purpose of issuing the state required road test. In order for any driving school to become certified, special training and rigorous requirements must be met. By offering this service, we are able to set up flexible appointments.
