In Motion Therapy was founded in 1994 as In Motion Hand Therapy by Gary Krabbe OT, CHT. As his business grew Gary began to recognize the need for a broader range of specialty therapy services in Montrose, CO. He put his plans in motion and from 2006 to 2011 In Motion Therapy gained an additional 7,000 square feet, an indoor heated therapy pool and a specialized sports rehabilitation area.
Hand Therapy / Occupational Therapy

A hand therapist is an occupational or physical therapist who, through advanced study, specializes in rehabilitating patients with conditions affecting the hands and upper quadrant. Additionally, Certified Hand Therapists, CHTs, have a minimum of five years of clinical experience and have successfully passed an examination of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper extremity rehabilitation.

Sports Medicine

In Motion Therapy has a very unique Sports Medicine program. We utilize physical and occupational therapists alongside athletic trainers and local physicians to help athletes suffering from injuries, return to full strength and function. In Motion Therapy provides certified Athletic Trainers at the local Montrose, Olathe, and Delta high schools, delivering optimal injury management for athletes in Montrose and Delta Counties.
Fitness Classes

This class follows a similar circuit training format, but in a low-impact setting. Ages 55+ are encouraged to join in and get invigorated from this excellent group exercise! Sit and Be Fit is intended to provide a fitness class to people who feel they do not want to use treadmills and weight equipment due to balance or other concerns.
