Ohl has been a family-owned and operated business since 1984, when Bobby and Brenda started the company.
Their sons, Steve and Brad started working part-time, after school. The origin of R.F. Ohl started from the need to supply diesel fuel to a water well drilling rig. The well drilling rig used 150 gallons a day of diesel. Bobby decided to buy his own fuel delivery truck, since he had previously worked for a heating oil company, to control some of his fuel costs.
