Wye River Upper School

Wye River Upper School is on a mission to change the lives of high school students who think and learn outside the box. We are a college-preparatory high school that offers a high quality education to students that face learning challenges including dyslexia, ADHD, and more. A majority of families have come to us feeling frustrated and discouraged, because in previous school settings their loved one struggled or fell through the cracks.

We offer an individualized high school education for grades 9-12 in a low-stress, yet challenging academic environment. In order to understand each student's learning style, we get the diagnostic information, observation, and the input of the parents. Our program ensures a well-rounded experience including athletics and the arts, offered within a daily structure that is responsive to the needs of teenagers.

Your support will help us provide the opportunities and experiences our students need, like spring performance of Cinderella or sponsoring a tennis team or purchasing a needed camera for the Art Department. The purpose of the Wye River Upper School Parents Association is to provide assistance and support to our school community. The PA is led by an executive board which includes a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Treasurer, and Secretary. There are no membership dues. All parents/guardians (past and present) are encouraged to participate!

Wye River Upper School appreciates the commitment of its many volunteers who give so generously of their time.
