Pregnancy testing detects the presence or absence of the hormone known as HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) in urine to aid in the early detection of pregnancy. Lab-quality urine pregnancy tests conducted by a registered nurse are used in our centers and are 99% accurate. These rapid tests can detect pregnancy as early as 7 to 10 days from conception-earlier than some at-home pregnancy tests.

If you've had unprotected sex, not only could you be pregnant, but you could also have an STD. Additionally, it's also possible to have an STD and not know it.
