We are a network of super friendly tutors for Palos Verdes and the Torrance and Redondo Beach areas. The tutors will go to your home or can meet virtually if that is yor preference. For K-5 we have Susan and Stephanie, both California credentialed teachers who do in home multi-subject tutoring for Palos Verdes and Torrance & Redondo Beach areas.
For middle school and up the tutors specialize in one or a couple subjects. Alida is our language specialist; a former LAUSD teacher, she tutors Spanish and English for AP and regular classes for middle school through college, as well as college application essays and ESL tutoring. Joseph, Thada, and Brenda all tutor math through algebra, calculus, and Physics, statistics AP for the Palos Verdes and Torrance & Redondo Beach areas.

Marshall Tutors, also known as South Bay and PV Tutors, has served the South Bay cities of Torrance, Redondo Beach, and Palos Verdes for 16 years. Joseph began the service in 2004 the same year he joined the math faculty at Marymount University in Palos Verdes. As demand grew and word spread he brought in elite tutors to network with.

Alida has been with Marshall Tutors for 10 years. She has shown herself to be not only a great Spanish and English tutor for the Palos Verdes and Redondo beach & Torrance areas but also has shown an unusual level of caring for the progress and wellbeing of her students. Alida lives in South Redondo Beach and will tutor in this city and in Palos Verdes and Torrance.

Thada has been in the network for 3 years. He is the math wizard of the group, able to tutor through calculus 1 and 2 Ap and physics AP for Palos Verdes and Redondo Beach areas. I knew I had a special tutor on the team after I got him his first student in 2017. The student had a physics test the next day (this was a Sunday) and did 7 hours of tutoring with Thada for her test.
Brenda

Brenda has been in the South Bay Tutors network since 2019 and has proven herself to be one of the most empathic and likeable instructors on the team. Her college education was centered on both math and education. She is great at explaining algebra and other math courses for tutor lessons in the Palos Verdes and Torrance areas for either in home or virtual lessons.
