Mr. Coleman worked for the leadership of the Oklahoma Senate before entering private practice, was the First African-American in state history to serve at this capacity, and First to serve three President Pro Tempores of the Oklahoma Senate within seven years. Mr. Coleman resigned from the State Senate in 2007 and became Co-Founder and owner of the law firm of Goza, Washington & Coleman.
