The Ducklings Daycare is a licensed home based Childcare located in Stone Ridge, VA. We offer every child, from infants to kindergarten, a safe and stimulating environment as they climb up the ladder of development. By providing a nurturing atmosphere, rich in quality care and individualized attention, we encourage children to evolve at unique stages of learning and socializing beyond the boundaries of their home place.

We look forward to working with you and getting to know your infant. We stress the importance of open communication between parents, teachers, and administrators. Please feel free to ask questions and share your concerns, and we'll do our best to work together. We work with each infant on his/her own schedule and prefer to feed children on demand.
Curriculum

Language development - using books, songs and activities that match your child's development level. Cognitive development - using activities like peekaboo, hunt and find, and shape-sorting toys. Motor Skill development - grasping toys, tummy time, and toys to push and pull around the room. Sensory development - touching items with various textures and feeling materials in the sensory bin.
Daily Schedule

Preschoolers enjoy a structured schedule that allows for flexibility. A schedule helps the day to flow more smoothly and allows the children to anticipate upcoming events. We will adhere to our written schedule to the best of our ability. There will be times when we have to make adjustments to the schedule.
