After several years of experience in the steel and recycling industry, Bill and Bret decided to strike out on their own. As the company grew, Bill and Bret bought their first office and scrap yard in Glendive, Montana. Here's a pic of Bill ~ at work with his early morning cup-o-joe and that good ole Smelser grin.

With our ironworkers, we can quickly cut-to-length angle, strip, flat and solid stock, punch round & square holes, as well as notch angle and flat stock.

Prepared scrap is heavy steel that is ready to go directly to the smelter. It is steel (not aluminum or any other metal), it's at least 1/8" thick and is no bigger than 18" x 36". Unprepared scrap is heavy steel that has to be prepared before it can go to the smelter. It is at least 1/8" thick and is bigger than 18" x 36".
