Long-Term Addiction Treatment
Our long-term addiction treatment program targets chronic relapsers through a structured, four-phase continuum. Clients progress based on behavioral milestones rather than fixed timelines, ensuring deep-rooted change. The program integrates dual-diagnosis care, life skills training, and accountability frameworks to address advanced addiction stages that short-term solutions fail to resolve. Each phase builds toward independent, sober living.
Dual Diagnosis Care
Specialized dual diagnosis treatment addresses co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders simultaneously. Our team employs trauma-informed therapies like EMDR and neurofeedback to treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. This integrated approach ensures both addiction and underlying mental health issues are resolved together, preventing relapse cycles.
Aftercare Programs
Aftercare programs provide structured transitional living and ongoing therapy to reinforce sobriety. Clients reside in gender-specific housing while gaining employment, participating in 12-Step groups, and maintaining clinical engagement. This phase bridges residential treatment with full independence, ensuring sustained recovery through peer accountability and professional guidance.
Residential Therapy
Intensive residential therapy immerses clients in clinical stabilization and behavioral restructuring. Daily routines include individual counseling, group therapy, and therapeutic outings. The program emphasizes breaking denial patterns, developing coping strategies, and rebuilding relational trust through structured accountability, forming the foundation for long-term recovery success.
Family Program
The family program educates loved ones on addiction dynamics and facilitates healing through workshops and counseling. Families learn boundary-setting, communication strategies, and recovery support techniques. By addressing enabling patterns and rebuilding trust, the program strengthens family systems to sustain recovery post-treatment.

My brother was here for five days & it cost us $25,000... This spot is unconscionable; looking at the reviews, $25,000 may be nothing if my brother's life was saved by avoiding the manipulation and isolation. To anyone reading this needing support: one thing that helps my brother with sobriety is writing things he loves about himself every day. Addiction distances the soul from self-love and reminding the soul how beautiful and amazing it is / you are is a great way to connect with your core.

Burning Tree is a unique program that offers five star treatment. I wouldnt hesitate to send a family member there. The staff is professional and ethical and it starts from the top down. Jay Staples & Eric Button are as committed and Invloved as anyone Ive seen from first point of contact through the duration of treatment (and beyond). I know the people we send are in good hands and will be given every opportunity to not just get sober, but get well.

I went through one of the Burning Tree Programs back in 2010. I had already been through several treatment programs and was feeling pretty hopeless. The facility I attended for Burning Tree Programs was unlike any place I had ever been and it was the first place that gave me hope for long term recovery. It was not always easy and I had some big road bumps along the way, but I was able to complete the program. I have been sober ever since and I know Burning Tree was instrumental in preparing me for a life of continuous recovery.

The more time I've spent away from this place, the more people I see who have died tragically from my "class".
1. You join this program under false pretenses and under manipulation. They take your cell phone, money, ID and credit cards. Then you find out the program is 2 years, not 6-8 months as you were told initially.
2. They isolate you from your family and friends. Sometimes this might be therapeutically necessary if for instance you have toxic relationships but they started limiting my contact with my 5 year old son after promising me I would remain connected to him. They kept

Horrible horrible place! They only get one star because I can't give them zero! The fact that they advertise as a dual diagnosis facility is an absolute JOKE. I have PTSD from 9/11 and I was having very vivid flashbacks and my counselor's answer to what I should do was 'pray and ask god about it.' That was his answer to any and every question I had. I was also kicked out and dumped in a homeless shelter the day after my parents had just paid for another 3 months and they refused to give even a partial refund. Their policy is also to blacklist anybody who is kicked out so my

Dont go here, simple as that. I left this place worse than when i went in, no doubt about that. This environment breeds resentment and dishonesty. Clients are constantly belittled and punishment is handed out without discretion. Imagine an old crotchety sponsor in Alcoholics Anonymous who is sarcastic and unhappy with their life, now imagine that person opens a treatment/behavioral modification center in the middle of bumfuck Texas.

It has been almost 7 years since I was a client there, but I know what they do there is something that no other treatment center can give to a person who suffered such a hopeless state of mind that i suffered from. I had been to 2 other treatment centers and only been using for 5 years but in that 5 years I had been arrested, lost custody of 2 children and was homeless on the street. With that being said Burning Tree saved my life and gave me my family back. It is not a cult like others have said in other reviews. It is not a bunch of amateurs running the place either. It is a place that teaches
