Citizenship/Naturalization

Naturalization is the process of becoming a U.S. citizen after meeting certain requirements. Generally, anyone over the age of 18 who has been a lawful permanent resident for at least five (5) years may apply for citizenship (or three (3) years if the applicant received their legal permanent residence through a U.S. citizen spouse and still resides with that spouse).
