Questions
What probate options exist in Texas?
Texas offers Small Estate Affidavits, Muniment of Title, Independent Administration, and Dependent Administration. We help clients choose the most appropriate process based on estate complexity and family needs.
How can Medicaid planning help with nursing home costs?
Our Medicaid planning identifies eligibility pathways while preserving family assets. We help structure financial arrangements to meet strict program requirements and secure long-term care benefits.
When is guardianship necessary?
Guardianship becomes necessary when a loved one cannot manage personal or financial affairs due to incapacity. We guide families through court proceedings to establish legal authority to protect vulnerable individuals.
What happens if someone dies without a will?
Texas intestacy laws determine asset distribution when no will exists. We assist families with heirship determinations and estate administration to ensure proper transfer of assets according to state law.
Do I need both a will and a trust?
While wills handle probate assets, trusts offer additional control over asset distribution. We help clients determine appropriate estate planning tools based on their specific family and financial situations.

You know, in life it really helps if you have relationships with highly competent, high quality, caring people. I have a mechanic and a contractor who have been trustworthy and dependable for years. I consider the Tracy Bush Law Office to be in that circle. Tracy and her staff have been so helpful, while at the same time being very caring as my family has fought its way through probates for relatives who died during this COVID scourge. We were referred to Tracy to assist with getting a will probated. It was for a county that she didnt have experience in, yet that didnt slow her down at all. She confidently took on our case and educated us on doing a Muniment and a few other familial legal matters. We successfully completed the hearing via zoom and before leaving her office, requested questionnaires for preparing our own wills for us. Thank you for answering our questions with sound experience and confidence, and practicing law in such an ethical manner. Highly recommend working with Tracy and her team!

Having move here from out of state, my husband and I went to get advice on Wills, Living wills, Power of Attorney, etc. We had them done where we used to live but wanted them updated and valid for TX. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of time Tracy Bush spent with us and how thoroughly she went over details making sure were understood everything involved. If you are looking for upscale, luxurious offices, look elsewhere. But if you want a lawyer who is professional, thoughtful, friendly, and provides excellent legal advice at a reasonable rate, this is the place to go. As an aside,
