Sky Chiefs Aviation is an affordable full-service, Part 61 flight school, with two (2) full-time Certified Flight Instructors, Ryan and Keith. Ryan, Chief Flight Instructor, has been instructing since 2004. He has a passion for teaching and provides a stress free learning environment. Ryan has experience teaching and flying in a variety of aircrafts and has the following credentials: CFI, CFII, Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land, High Performance Endorsement, Complex Endorsement, and Tailwheel Endorsement.

Your training will be conducted in accordance with Part 61. We pride ourselves on having an extremely in-depth, industry leading syllabus. From the beginning, an emphasis is placed on safety, situational awareness, and good aeronautical decision-making. As part of your training for your private pilot certificate, you will receive ground training (mini lectures) and flight training.
Our Aircraft

In order to rent our aircraft, we require a checkout flight with one of our Certified Flight Instructors. You will need to have on file: (1) Valid FAA Pilot Certificate, (2) Current FAA Medical or BasicMed, (3) Photo ID, (4) Renter's Insurance, (5) Credit or Debit Card. You will review and sign our Renter's Agreement.

Valid Credit or Debit Card must be on file for all aircraft rentals and flight/ground instruction. Flight training financing is available to qualified applicants through the AOPA. You apply directly with the AOPA finance company. Sky Chiefs Aviation will provide any supporting documentation needed by the finance company.
