In the early 1970's, Richard Wolter spent his days in the local factory, his evenings and weekends in his basement, building cabinetry for family and friends. It wasn't long before he realized he had more interest in his cabinets than a part-time job could fulfill. In 1984, he started Wolter's Custom Cabinets as a full-time business.
Quickly outgrowing his basement, Rich built a small finishing shop behind his home. Before long, it too, did not provide enough room for his growing business. With great anticipation, ground was broken for a full-scale cabinet shop to be built. As his kids slept above the midnight hammering, the new shop would provide him the opportunity to separate his business and home.

Face frame material is hand selected from the wood species of your choice. It could be 3/4 Hard Maple, Red Oak, White Oak, Hickory, Knotty Alder, Cherry or Paint Grade. The choice is yours. Sides are 3/4 thick real wood veneered domestic plywood hand selected to match the face frame. Solid wood frames with applied doors also available.
