Since 1921, golfers have been challenging themselves on The Legacy at Hastings, a classic West Michigan premier golf course. The Legacy features long fairways with smooth and fast greens, surrounded by towering stands of hardwoods, and beautiful panoramic views. Where golf is fun and everyone is welcome, the course is a mildly challenging par 72, at 5,219 yards from the "forward tees" to as long as 6,477 yards from the "championship tees."

The golf course has been in operation since 1921, constructed through the vision and resources of some of the same families who founded our community. In 2011 the golf course was purchased by Michigan Golf hall of Famer, Lynn Janson and his wife Norma. Lynn and Norma grew the tradition and reputation of the course until 2017 when they decided to transition out of the golf business and into the next phase of their life.
Membership & Leagues

As a member of The Legacy at Hastings, you'll have full access to our facilities, leagues and events. The best feature? You can play whenever the course is open!
There are no restrictions on what days or times you play, nor on how many times a week you play (The Legacy does allow outside tournaments and our own leagues, although, as a member, our staff will make every effort to get you on the course before/after a tournament for a full 18 or a quick 9 holes).

Par-Tee Cellar

The Par-Tee Cellar is the hidden jewel of The Legacy at Hastings! Tucked into the lower level of the clubhouse, members, guests and the local community find amazing food, a quaint atmosphere and a fully stocked bar. The adjacent outdoor patio offers additional seating and perfect views of the golf course.
Youth Programs

The Legacy also has a golf program for more advanced youth golfers. These kids are hand selected to compete on our PGA Junior League team and travel around West Michigan to compete against other golf courses' teams. Lynn Janson, Michigan Golf Hall of Fame Member, instructs the groups on swing techniques, short-game drills, and the basics of competitive golf.

The Legacy at Hastings offers a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere perfect for all ages and fun for all golf levels. The indoor golf simulators are a great way to practice, take a lesson or have fun with family or friends!
