Mohs surgery is a highly effective technique for the removal of skin cancer whereby progressive 'layers' of skin cancer are removed and analyzed under microscope until the entire cancer is eliminated. Our care team performs multiple Mohs procedures each week with almost all wound closures done on-site.

Erin Ducharme, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist serving Iowans in Greater Des Moines and surrounding areas from her Clive clinic. Prior to opening her clinic in 2018, Dr. Ducharme served as Chief Dermatologist at the VA in Des Moines where she was honored to serve our nations veterans. Before her time at the VA, she set up and ran the Dermatology practice at the Iowa Clinic in West Des Moines.
