The Platteville Golf and Country Club is an 18 hole golf course laid out in the rolling hillsides of beautiful Southwestern Wisconsin. Meticulous groundskeeping and lush fairways greet the golfer looking for an exceptional golfing experience. Everyone is welcome, we are open to the public. The Course is challenging, and yet fun-to-play! It offers the best greens in Southwest Wisconsin. The greens are all small, quick and unique to the terrain of Southwest Wisconsin.

The club rented eighty acres of land from 1921 to 1956 on which the original nine-hole layout was developed and a small clubhouse constructed. At one time the rent for the land was $600 per year! There was an active mine located on the site of the present tennis courts until sometime in the 1950's.

Junior Golf Program

Platteville Golf & Country Club, the Platteville City Recreation Program and the Platteville School District are working together to offer these youth golf lessons. The goal of the program is to teach fundamentals of the game while incorporating rules, integrity and etiquette. A junior golf membership is included with the programs fees for your child!

The Platteville Golf & Country Club is a member equity golf club with a beautiful 18-hole course. We offer Family to Junior Memberships along with a Business Membership Program for a local business partners. This entitles the member to full golfing participation in all events sponsored by the Club during the calendar year.

Scheduled Outings

We are currently booking golf outings for this season and would like to assist you in setting up yours. If you have friends (group of 8) or a large group for fun or fundraiser, we are happy to assist you in doing this. We are here to help make your gathering a success. Platteville Golf Course is committed to creating an exceptional "golf experience" and provide an unmatched service to all of its patrons.

Bar & Grill

Platteville Bar and Grill is a perfect destination for anyone looking for a friendly relaxed atmosphere for a casual lunch, after work drinks or dinner with friends and family. Currently we are serving Thursday-Saturday from 11am to 8pm. These times may change in the future. We have a great Fish Fry on Fridays from 5pm to 8pm.
