Our physical therapists offer you a wealth of experiences, as well as personal experience just like yours. Opened in January of 2008 by Jim Trakis and expanded in 2010, the New York City office is located in the heart of midtown Manhattan. We offer personalized therapy in a friendly comfortable environment and make utilizing our services convenient for our patients by offering early morning, midday, and after work appointments.

Our office is extremely accessible via subway and bus. The treating therapists are Evan Bracconeri, DPT and Amy Claypool, DPT both of whom keep the rehabilitative process efficient and positive. With over twenty years of combined experience, Evan and Amy are committed to providing the highest quality of patient first therapy.

On your first visit we'll do a complete physical evaluation, medical history evaluation and, most importantly, really listen to what's troubling you. Our Midtown office offers Blood Flow Restriction Training onsite using the BStrong system. Under the guidance of our trained therapists, BFR is a safe and effective exercise technique that reduces blood flow to the targeted muscle. This produces rapid and significant gains in strength using minimal weights in a very short period of time.

We accept all insurances on the list found below. As part of our intake process, we will call to get your specific physical therapy benefits and notify you at the time of your first appointment or before if you prefer. If you do not have insurance, we offer affordable self pay rates. We will also work with collegiate/school/club secondary insurances.

The Achilles tendon is the largest in the body and connects the calf muscle to the heel bone of the foot. This condition involves the inflammation of this tendon which is often caused by repetitive stress on it through pushing the body beyond its abilities. An example would be trying to run a marathon when the body is only trained for a half-marathon.
